Used cooking oil imports from all origins fell 12% year over year to 2.17 MMT, down from a record 2.46 MMT in 2024.

The decline was driven almost entirely by China. Shipments from China dropped 54% year over year, reducing its share of total U.S. imports to just 27%, down sharply from 50% in 2023 and 52% in 2024.
