This is one summer vacation you do not want to miss.

The Itinerary
Day One | Sunday, August 2
Arrive, explore, and unwind in Campinas
After arriving in São Paulo (GRU), we transfer to Campinas for check-in before kicking things off with an included lunch at a traditional Brazilian steakhouse — your first taste of authentic churrasco.
The rest of the day is yours to relax at the pool, recharge, — or step out and explore one of Campinas’ best neighborhoods, including a traditional Sunday market filled with local vendors, street food, and a true taste of Brazilian culture.

Day Two | Monday, August 3
São Paulo Agriculture in Action
Today we head to Limeira — the intersection of Brazil’s citrus and sugarcane industries.
We begin at Laranja Boschiero in Brazil’s orange belt, which supplies roughly 70% of global orange juice exports. The operation also includes coffee production, offering a look at two of Brazil’s key crops — from orchard to processing, including harvesting, quality control, and logistics.
In the afternoon, we visit Usina Iracema, where sugarcane is processed into sugar and ethanol. The tour walks through crushing, fermentation, and distillation — and how the plant maximizes value across multiple outputs, including energy from bagasse.

Day Three | Tuesday, August 4
Into Cattle Country: Mato Grosso do Sul
Today we move from São Paulo into Mato Grosso do Sul — where large-scale cattle and grain operations define the landscape.
We fly to Campo Grande before visiting the Associação Brasileira de Novilho Precoce (ABNP), where we see Brazil’s cattle system up close. This producer-led organization focuses on accelerated finishing systems — leveraging genetics, nutrition, and feedlot management.

Day Four | Wednesday, August 5
Dourados: The Agricultural Heart of Mato Grosso do Sul
Today we travel to Dourados — a major ag hub in Mato Grosso do Sul, known for large-scale soybean and corn production, alongside growing sugarcane and eucalyptus.
This is the heart of Brazil’s Central-West production corridor — where scale, technology, and logistics come together to drive output. The region is also a leader in integrated systems, where cattle and crops rotate on the same land to improve efficiency and manage risk.
We’ll also visit Embrapa, Brazil’s leading ag research organization, for a firsthand look at the science behind Brazil’s productivity — from seed genetics to no-till and pest management.

Day Five | Thursday, August 6
Ludwig Farm: Fazenda Rio Branco Tour
Today focuses on large-scale agriculture in Mato Grosso do Sul, featuring a visit to Ludwig Farm — a 40,000-hectare integrated cattle and crop operation and one of the premier family-owned farms in the state. The operation combines pasture-based cattle systems with grain production and feedlot finishing.
Our visit is timed with the Safrinha corn harvest, offering a real-time look at Brazil’s second-crop system.

Day Six | Friday, August 7
Bonito: Brazil's Natural Wonders - Day One
Today begins our exploration of Bonito — where crystal-clear rivers, underground lakes, and one of the most unique ecosystems in the world take center stage.
We start at Gruta do Lago Azul, where a short descent reveals a deep underground lake with remarkable clarity and color.
In the afternoon, we head to Rio Sucuri — a spring-fed river where you’ll snorkel alongside native fish in crystal-clear water.
During our time in Bonito, we stay at Pousada Arte da Natureza — a resort set among native vegetation, where guests enjoy private pool accommodations and a relaxed, elevated setting.

Day Seven | Saturday, August 8
Bonito: Brazil's Natural Wonders - Day Two
Our final full day in Bonito is spent at Boca da Onça — one of Brazil’s most impressive natural landscapes.
The day follows a scenic trail connecting waterfalls and spring-fed pools across the park. Along the route, guests move between 11 waterfalls and designated swimming areas, with time to stop, take it in, and enjoy the setting.
The highlight: Boca da Onça waterfall — the largest in Mato Grosso do Sul, dropping 156 meters (512 ft).

Day Eight | Sunday, August 9
Relax, dine, depart
After check-out, we transfer from Bonito (BYO) for a late morning flight to Viracopos (VCP).
Upon arrival, we stop at Travitália Bar & Restaurante for lunch — a scenic, relaxed break between airports — before continuing to GRU for evening departures back to the United States.
